Why do they hate feminism so much? Do you even know what that term means? We don't want to destroy your family, we don't want your salary, we don't want to be superior.
We want to invite you not only to a dialogue, but also to a fight, accepting this proposal is a matter of dignity, love for you and the world.
Brazilians, only in 1827 obtained the right to study.
Only in 1934 did they obtain the right to vote.
Brazilian women, only in 1962 they obtained the right of not having to ask their husbands authorization to perform work
Only in 2006 did they obtain a law against domestic violence.
Feminism! Contrary feelings in one word, but the true meaning of the cause concerns the union. It is an incessant search for equality and justice for women's basic rights.
The feminine society perceives the reason for its struggle daily present in phrases of the common sense.
Who has never heard something like:
"My wife doesn't leave the house wearing such a suit"
"She cooks so well, she can get married"
"The woman should receive less because she becomes pregnant"
“I have 5 children. There were 4 men, the fifth I was weak and a woman came ”
The last two sentences being said by a former deputy, current President of the Republic, these positions, which should maintain the decorum that requires such functions.
These phrases are pronounced while only 10% of federal deputies in Brazil are women, for every seven councilors only one is a woman and the only democratically elected president in Brazil was deposed from power in the middle of her term.
The term feminist is often used as words to diminish women, treated as a pejorative form. There are those who do not claim to be feminists for fear of suffering unfounded accusations about the cause, even if they fully support it.
To make it clear that feminism is not a search for gender segregation, but a search for balance and equality between them. We cannot be ashamed for exposing all this anguish. To say feminist is to support the break with the patriarchal structure.
Even in today's society, women suffer violence, humiliation and oppression. The world must undergo a transformation for this scenario to change.
We will be Feminists!
As long as women are paid less, holding the same positions as men, we will be feminists!
As long as there is a case of aggression against women every four minutes, we will be feminists!
As long as a woman is raped in Brazil every 11 minutes, we will be feminists!
As long as women die from being women, we will be feminists!
We will all be feminists!
